First Partial Denture Pt.

Today I had a patient that had a partial denture. It was a learning experience because I was not aware that she did have one and did not know exactly what to do. So I did have her remove it and set it aside in a cup of water. All of her maxillary teeth were crowned and she only had canine to canine and one molar on her right side on the mandible. It was interesting to see how the bone has resorbed in her edentulous areas. I was able to take 8 PAs on her and this was also interesting considering that she had no bottom teeth to help hold the XCP in place. The cotton roll trick came in handy for me. They all turned out quite well, she just had a small mouth in combo with a pretty large palate tori so it was hard to get the right angle. I will be finishing her on the 25th and therefore I will be able to pass of my partial PE. WOO HOO!

That is so lucky... I am still wondering who I am going to find for that PE!
